I recently moved to the Gallatin area and had to find a new dentist. So I read reviews and took a chance with Gallatin Dental Care. The reviews did not steer me wrong. I am so happy that this is where I ended up. My hygienist was Alyssa and she was fantastic. Very thorough, neat and organized. My interaction with Dr. Foster was just as great! The entire office from start to finish was 5 stars ⭐️. I highly recommend this practice!
My recent experience was not good. After cleaning I was told there was a $50 charge. I said the cleaning should have been covered 100% by insurance and asked why? I was told the dentist is NOT in the network anymore and insurance would only cover 80%. I asked when did it change? She said in April. I asked why I was not notified after scheduling an appointment in June? Or when the office called me to confirm my appt? Or even when I arrived at the office? Just silence. Which I thought was strange so when I returned home I verified the dentist is still in the insurance plan and cleaning is covered 100%. Unfortunately this is not the first time this happened to my family and I. It seems to be a pattern of deceptive practice in my opinion. They like to hold at least $50 on your account at all times in my experience.
My first visit was great! The original procedure went wonderfully. However, since then my confidence in a smooth, pain free experience has dropped a bit. The next visit, having to replace the temporary bridge that cracked (in less than 24 hrs) certainly didn’t go well. I feel like the replacement is worse than the first, quickly done, and very painful. Lindsay contacted me today. She and Dr. Foster replaced the temporary bridge. They were wonderful, and made everything right. This one feels much better. I had no pain and will continue to use Gallatin Dental Care! Thank you Dr. Foster and Lindsay, you’re the best!!
After being here for multiple years we are leaving. Seems like selling extras is more important than recognizing people who have processing difficulties. In what world can a 19yr old pay $1200 without parent money for a special coating that while nice is OPTIONAL! Tried calling the Gallatin office several times while our 19yr was there to intervene because said 19yr was texting from chair that they had been charged almost $500 when previous treatment session was $429. They hadn’t billed our insurance in first visit. Then tell our 19yr there will be another session to fill three more cavalries and more money! So three appointments needed so they can focus on coating instead of cavalries and conduct an optional treatment. Our 19yr old thought they had to have the coating because this optional treatment was presented as a treatment for cavities that were tiny and just starting. Couldn’t get one office member of Gallatin office on the phone. Instead got staff from other locations. When we could have prevented optional charges instead we got run around. Finally get office manager and while she was nice there was no sensitivity to the issue. We will after 10yrs approximately be finding a new dental office where sales aren’t more important than the patient and their wallet.
I’ve been to multiple dentists in middle TN due to moving cities and insurance changes and finally landed here. This is by far, the best dentist office I’ve ever been to, hands down. The staff is amazing and wants to do everything they can to reach your goals regarding oral health and your smile. I’m getting my husband to come here and I’m not going anywhere else moving forward. I’m so happy with my smile now. Definitely check them out.
Excellent overall experience! Thorough cleaning and examination of my teeth gives me peace of mind! Thank you. At first, I was reluctant to move my services from Brentwood. However, after living in Gallatin for a while, I knew that I needed to find a good local dentist. I now have a new home!
Had my first appointment with GDC and it went well! The atmosphere was welcoming and the people at the front desk were helpful and kind. The hygienist was very personable and knowledgeable. The dentist I saw was also great! I felt like everyone genuinely wanted me there. It didn’t feel rushed or delayed and just had a good flow. Highly recommend!
