This is Barb Porter. I had a tooth extracted by Dr. Hernandez on 6-29; I did not have any pain at all! I went back to have sutures removed by Susan and she was great at removing the sutures. She also was able to print out a copy of a pertinent medical record for me. Thank you to the great staff !

I’ve been a patient at Joplin Family Dental for almost two years, and I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Kirk and his entire team. During my time as a patient, they’ve completed a crown, repaired a chipped tooth perfectly, and taken care of multiple cavity fillings. Every procedure has been done with great attention to detail, and the results have always exceeded my expectations. What really sets Dr. Kirk apart is how thoroughly he explains everything. He takes the time to discuss what’s causing the problem, what treatment is needed to fix it, and what steps I can take to prevent future issues. That level of communication makes every visit much less stressful and helps you feel confident in your care. The entire staff is consistently professional, friendly, and welcoming. No matter how busy the office is, everyone treats patients with kindness and respect. Dr. Kirk also goes the extra mile by personally checking in after procedures to make sure everything is healing properly and that you’re satisfied with the results. In nearly two years of visits, I’ve never experienced a negative attitude from Dr. Kirk or anyone on the team. Their commitment to patient care and comfort is obvious from the moment you walk through the door. Joplin Family Dental has become my home away from home. I had major anxiety going to the dentist all of my life and they have helped me in ways I never thought possible. Dr. Kirk is an amazing dentist. He has never made me feel bad about myself and is very into every step of my dental process. He doesn’t talk down to me and is very thorough and good at what he does. He expects nothing less than the best. Susan is always very personable and kind. She is very knowledgable and good at what she does. Erin is a ray of sunshine. She is so friendly and kind and personable and just a breath of fresh air and helps ease the check out and scheduling process and has gone above and beyond to help me. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for mine or my family’s dental needs.

Been working with Joplin Family Dental for about 3-4 years. Dr Paustian has been working with me on my dental journey and always listens to what my needs and concerns are. I am very happy with my smile - boosts my confidence by 100%! Montana has been assisting me on the last few visits - she is sweet but very professional and does her job well! My family and I absolutely love this dentist office. We have been going here for almost 6 years now and have never once had a bad experience. Every hygienist is amazing and friendly! The ladies up front are also spectacular! Everyone is so kind and personable. Lindsey and Erin always know each of us by name and will take time to have conversation and check in on the whole family! We have regular visits with Becky and Beth! Becky is funny, sweet and has great conversation. She is good at checking in with me during our visit about my comfortability the whole time. Beth is awesome with my daughter and makes her feel special every time she sits in her chair. One of my sons had his first cleaning with Alexis, and she was so great with him! He was quiet and nervous, but she worked well with him, and he is ready to come back in 6 months! Dr. K and Dr. P are also great people! They are very friendly and will let you know what is going on. If you have questions or concerns, they listen and give great feedback! We have always recommended JFD to anyone and will continue!! Thank you guys for being the BEST!
